A verified field agent visits the farmer at their community or cooperative depot.

Agent credentials authenticated via the Android app with GPS-tagged check-in.

STEP 2

BI Document Scan

Agent photographs the farmer's Bilhete de Identidade (BI) card.

OCR extracts name, ID number, and date of birth. NUIT is recorded for tax compliance.

STEP 3

Biometric Face Match

Agent captures a live selfie of the farmer using the agent's phone camera.

AI backend performs facial liveness check and matches against the BI photo to prevent identity fraud.

STEP 4

SIM Binding

Verified farmer identity is bound to their unique SIM card phone number.

Farmer receives a 4-digit PIN to securely access the platform via USSD/SMS.

STEP 5

USSD Access Activated

Farmer can now securely interact with the platform using basic feature phones.
