1. Sponsorships and blog income are separate
Maputo Bridge Capital is operated by Tebotech LLC, a for-profit business. It is not a charity or a nonprofit, and sponsorships are not tax-deductible. When you sponsor a farmer, 92% goes to the farmer's local seed and fertilizer shop and 8% covers field verification visits and receipt documentation. Nothing on this page changes that.
Separately, our blog may earn income in the ways described below. That income belongs to Maputo Bridge Capital as a business. It is not a sponsorship and it is not a gift to a farmer.
2. Affiliate links
Some blog articles contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every article that contains affiliate links says so at the top.
3. Advertising
Blog articles may show advertising from networks such as Google AdSense. Ads are labeled "Advertisement." Ad networks may use cookies to show and measure ads. We do not place ads on the sponsorship, farmer, or campaign pages. See our Privacy Policy for details on cookies.
4. Partner posts
Occasionally a company may pay for an article or provide a product for review. These articles carry a "Partner post" label at the top and name the partner. We call them partner posts, not sponsored posts, so they are never confused with sponsoring a farmer.
5. Digital products
We sell ebooks and may sell other digital products. These are purchases, not sponsorships or donations.
