Charity gift catalog 2026
The gift catalog where you see the receipt.
Most charity gift catalogs ask you to “buy a goat” and trust that one is somewhere. Here every gift is for a named farmer in Mozambique, paid to their village seed shop, and both you and the person you honour see the receipt.
- $25 · Seed for one farmer: enough maize or bean seed to plant a family plot.
- $50 · Seed and fertilizer: the pair that can double a small plot’s maize harvest.
- $150 · A full season: seed, fertilizer and tools for one farmer, start to harvest.
- $19.99 · A book from the Nature series: $5 of every copy buys seed, so a book gift sponsors a farmer too. See the ebook store.

How it works
1. Choose a farmer
Pick a real farmer by name, crop and province. Verified farmers are visited in the field.
2. Your gift goes to the seed shop
From $25. We pay the farmer’s local agro-dealer for seed, fertilizer and tools. Never cash.
3. You get the receipt
The shop receipt, a photo of the seed in the ground and a harvest update, by email and on the live dashboard.
4. It is paid forward
After harvest the farmer pays the season into a community fund that sponsors the next farmer.
Frequently asked questions
What is a charity gift catalog?
A list of gifts you buy in someone’s name for people in need, such as seed, animals or school supplies. The person you honour gets a card; the gift goes to a family. Ours lists farm inputs for named farmers in Mozambique, with a receipt for each.
Can I give a goat to a family in Africa?
Many catalogs sell goats as a symbol: your money goes into a general fund. We do something more traceable: your gift buys seed and fertilizer for a named farmer at their local seed shop, and you get that shop’s receipt. A good harvest is what lets a family buy and keep animals.
How does the person I am honouring find out?
Tick “Give this as a gift” when you sponsor and add their name, email and a message. They get a printable card with the farmer’s name, crop and province the moment the payment clears.
Is it too late to order for Christmas?
No. Nothing ships: the card is emailed instantly, so it works even on Christmas Eve.
How much of my gift reaches the farmer?
92% is paid to the farmer’s local seed shop; 8% covers field verification. It is a gift, not an investment.
