For agri-businesses, brands and foundations

Sponsor what Mozambican farmers use, and show the receipt.

Reach smallholder farmers in Portuguese and sponsors in English, fund real harvests, and get the proof your CSR, ESG or marketing team needs. Choose a package below or ask for a custom one.

Two audiences in two languages

Mozambican farmers, agro-dealers and extension workers read our Portuguese guides; sponsors in the US and the diaspora read our English pages and books.

Where Google readers come from

About 43% Mozambique, 11% United States, 11% South Africa, then the UK, Portugal and Canada (Search Console, Sept 22 to Oct 19, 2026).

Proof, not impressions

Every sponsored dollar is tied to a named farmer and a seed-shop receipt on a public dashboard, which is what CSR, ESG and mission reports need.

Promotional and perk partnerships

Agro-dealer partner network

free for seed shops

Seed shops and agro-dealers in Mozambique that give our sponsored farmers a partner price are listed as verified MBC partner dealers, and receive the orders our sponsors pay for.

Perks for sponsors and the diaspora

co-marketing

Brands serving sponsors or the Mozambican diaspora (money transfer, travel, Mozambican cashew, coffee or crafts) offer an exclusive code to our community, with part of each sale buying seed.

  • Sponsors never change what our guides recommend to farmers; sponsored content is always labelled.
  • We accept brands that are useful to farmers or sponsors, and decline tobacco, alcohol, betting and political sponsors.

Frequently asked questions

What can a company sponsor on Maputo Bridge Capital?

Farmer blocks for a planting season, a Giving Tuesday or Christmas gift match, the annual Smallholder Season Report, our Portuguese farmer guide series, free editions of our farm books, the monthly letter, in-kind seed, tools or software, and perk partnerships for our community.

Who sees sponsor content?

Mozambican farmers, agro-dealers and extension workers through our Portuguese guides and books, and sponsors in the United States and the Mozambican diaspora through our English pages, books and monthly letter.

Which brands do you accept?

Brands that are useful to smallholder farmers or to our sponsors: seed, fertilizer, tools, storage, irrigation, mobile money, insurance, logistics, ethical food and travel. We do not accept tobacco, alcohol, betting or political sponsors, and sponsors never change what our guides recommend to farmers.

How is a sponsorship reported?

Each sponsor gets the list of what was funded or delivered, the receipts, photos, and the page views and clicks of their placements.

Is sponsoring a farmer block an investment?

No. Farmer sponsorships are gifts. Farmers pay the season forward into a community fund, not back to sponsors.
