MBC Will Never Charge Farmers for Their Own Data

Every other platform collects farmer data and sells it. Apollo collects yield data. ThriveAgric collects input data. Google collects search data. Facebook collects behavioral data. The farmer never sees a penny.

MBC takes the opposite position: farmer data is farmer property.

The Farmer Data Dividend ensures that when MBC monetizes aggregated, anonymized farmer data (to DFIs, researchers, government), 70% of revenue goes back to farmers via M-Pesa.

This is not charity. This is ownership. The farmer's NDVI score, soil analysis, yield prediction, and transaction pattern are THEIR data. If anyone profits from it, the farmer profits first.

MBC will never charge farmers for their own data. MBC will pay farmers for it.
