Quantum Superposition: Parallel Credit Scoring for 9.5M Farmers
All at Once, Not One by One
Classical computers evaluate farmer credit scores sequentially — one farmer at a time. 9.5M farmers at 3.2 seconds each = 354 days. Quantum superposition encodes all 9.5M farmer profiles into a single quantum state, evaluating them simultaneously in 7.4 minutes.
How Superposition Works for Credit Scoring
A classical computer stores one farmer's credit data (14 features) in 14 bits. A quantum computer stores all 9.5M farmers' data in 28 qubits (2^28 = 268M states, enough for 9.5M farmers). The quantum processor evaluates all farmer profiles in a single quantum circuit execution.
Investment Model
| Component | Cost (USD) | |-----------|-----------| | QSVM algorithm with superposition encoding | $55,000 | | IBM Quantum access | $120,000 | | Classical preprocessing pipeline | $25,000 | | MBC platform integration | $15,000 | | Total | $215,000 |
Revenue model:
- Credit scoring API: $0.05/farmer x 9.5M = $475,000/year
- Bank licensing: $200,000/year
- Total: $675,000/year | IRR: 214% | Payback: 3.8 months
